The form of flight that was created in nature, but put on an aircraft in the early 20s suffered the economic fate of the great depression. The automobile that was created in the same era made fewer people rich and forced our thinking to remain grounded for the last 90 years. The 50s just rekindled the love affair with this outdated & grounded mode of getting around.
Our weak technology's improvement of current ground based personnel transportation has turned us backwards into another economic depression. Soon it will become unprofitable to go to work as many in rural areas find commuting to the suburbs and inner city.
Without a radical change on modes of design to help us get there cheaper, faster and with a little more fun our work based society will plummet into disparage and self destruction. There is a natural resonant rotor rotational speed where vibration and gyration harmonics can be contained & retrained to become a power source for ergonomic flight in a personnel autogiro.
